DataEase 6.52 is the last version in the DataEase 6 series and it is now primarily used as a pre-migration tool for moving earlier versions of DataEase to 7.2. If you are upgrading from DataEase for Windows 6 and earlier or even from DOS (see Upgrading to 7.2), go to 6.52 first before moving to 7.2.
Once in 6.52 you are then able to upgrade your application using the “migration” utility available in 7.2.
DataEase 6.52 is not Vista or Windows 7 compatible and does not contain all the improvements, enhancements and maintenance changes that have been incorporated into each subsequent version of DataEase, so unless you are using it as an upgrade tool, our recommendation is for you to use the latest and much improved DataEase 7.2.
